The platform is very much community driven in that every record entered is analyzed, tagged, and transformed into useful information that is pumped back into the system consequently updating in real time robust trend analytics, station mapping, pricing models, etc. An activity rewards program is implemented encouraging frequent use. The suggested way to use the application is to enter records AT THE POINT OF SERVICE. iMotorManager uses a complex station detection algorithm to determine where you are at while entering a service record. For example, after you are done performing a fill up at your favorite gas station, get back into the car, launch the app, tap the "Fillup" button for the vehicle you want to fillup, and watch as the system automatically detects your location. After you enter the fillup details and save the record, the system automatically enters the record into your account and the detected location allowing you to review the locations in the account section of the website.
Congrats! You will get double the activity points for tagging an unmarked station! Tag as many unmarked stations as you can to build rapid reward points. Each "Unknown Station" entry will be verified using advanced geocoding techniques and if your unknown station entry is indeed verified as a valid service provider, your double points will be awarded.
The platform is highly extensible and there will be new features and services added constantly. Most features will not require a new version of the application as the handset software is highly dynamic with the ability to update itself as new features come online.
